Since April 30th 2009, we are measuring the night sky brightness at Cerro Paranal, Chile. This site is to be known as one of the best observing sites in the world and harbours the VLTI. The isolated location in the Atacama desert as well as the altitude of 2635m makes this place to one of the most interesting measuring sites for the Lightmeter and will allow us to detect small variations in the night sky brightness.
The Lightmeter is located on top of the roff of the DIMM container. There is shadowing due to UT4 and VST and visible in the data during nights with moon.
